i’m an emmy winner!

I WON AN EMMY!!!!!!!!!

     

I am now legally, officially, for all my days, "Emmy Award-Winning Writer Mandy Levy."

It was really cool cuz everyone from the BSPG table won. Holla!!

     

So anyway, that’s that. It was incredible. Now I’m going to go drink champagne and eat noodles with hot sauce and parmesan on it.

Dance_MF was MF-ing awesome.

     

     

     

     

Even my chandelier made of beach balls turned out beautifully!

     

     

There were probably like 200 people there, looking fabulous and dancing hard through the night. Our video loop was the coolest, the skrim (creating the DJ silhouettes) was INSANE, the music was perfect, people were happy…It was so fun. And save the smoke alarm going off and the fire department showing up but not being able to turn it off for a good hour, I’d say it went off without a hitch! It was awesome. I’m proud of us. We’ll take it!

     

American Rhapsody won "Best Use of Music" in the Lite Brite Best of the Test. With our luck, John Waters probably presented the award and we weren’t there to accept. Ah well, maybe I’ll get a call from him some day to play Hatchet Face’s lil’ sis:
