New Project Alert! TRACER Magazine is a new indie music mag and website based out of Cincinnati, and it looks like PROJECTMILL is going to be teaming up with them to ensure its awesomeness! We had a brainstorm dinner last night, and we’ve got tons of great ideas to launch this baby proper! AND I’m going to join the staff as a contributing writer, doing reviews/interviews/etc. But I also have an awesome specialty column I’m preparing to pitch to them. But I’m not posting it here till I get the greenlight…

How does it work with ghostwriting? Am I allowed to talk about it? Probably not. That’s kind of the only rule, right? No talk, just write. That has to be a contstant struggle for a full-time ghostwriter. I bet they have more issues than anyone; more issues than a dentist. (Everyone knows dentists have the highest suicide rating of any profession. Did YOU know that?) But really. Ghostwriting is the pits! No credit where credit is due! Not ever! I’d kill myself. I’m doing it now. Not killing myself. Ghostwriting. But I’m not allowed to say. But I will, because it doesn’t matter, because it won’t go anywhere. It won’t be chosen. I’m ghostwriting a Hollywood pitch for a book deal for a high-profile call girl. One that ran with the same crowds as Eliot Spitzer’s bitch. That’s all I can say. My friend asked me to help and I’m probably doing it all wrong but it’s fun and it’s news so I’m mentioning it. The end.

Milk Money release party was a huge awesome success. Here’s a picture of me reading. I’m an ant.
And here’s me with Maija and Ian, who are the awesome co-founders and co-editors of the magazine, and also Caleb Mathern (contributing author) and then another reader/writer who I don’t know.
Anyway though lots of people came out and lots of people read and lots of people had a really nice time. There was even a guy I met named Jeff who might be interested in some of my fiction for a magazine he edits, called Evil Dog. Apparently they’ve been defunct for a while but they’re coming back! Looks like some pretty cool stuff. I’m excited to send something his way.
So thanks again to Feralmade and Milk Money. Hope we all do it again sometime soon!!
