SXSW

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, bitches! I’ve just returned home to Sean and my clean flannel sheets after a horrible 20-hour drive from Austin, straight through the night. SXSW was incredibly busy but incredibly awesome. We mingled and schmoozed with the best of the indie rock scenesters, passing out PROJECTMILL business cards wherever we could. The WOXY lounge acts were amazing. It was so cool to have all these awesome artists come to us in the most intimate and exclusive of settings, as opposed to the rest of SX, where you’re gasping for air in a sweaty sea of humanity and you can’t see a thing on stage and you want to kill yourself. We got great footage of so many awesome acts, like the Kills, Shout Out Louds, Sons and Daughters, Lightspeed Champion, and Peter Moren (Peter from PB & J). God it was so awesome. Although I’ve probably never been uglier, so I can see why he wanted nothing to do with me.
