WOXY vids
WOXY videos are pretty much all done and up on Vimeo. Ugh. It’s been taking forever, but at least now we’ve got a pretty hefty portfolio to vouch for the legitimacy and awesomeness of PROJECTMILL as it goes public…

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, bitches! I’ve just returned home to Sean and my clean flannel sheets after a horrible 20-hour drive from Austin, straight through the night. SXSW was incredibly busy but incredibly awesome. We mingled and schmoozed with the best of the indie rock scenesters, passing out PROJECTMILL business cards wherever we could. The WOXY lounge acts were amazing. It was so cool to have all these awesome artists come to us in the most intimate and exclusive of settings, as opposed to the rest of SX, where you’re gasping for air in a sweaty sea of humanity and you can’t see a thing on stage and you want to kill yourself. We got great footage of so many awesome acts, like the Kills, Shout Out Louds, Sons and Daughters, Lightspeed Champion, and Peter Moren (Peter from PB & J). God it was so awesome. And look, here are some pictures of me with celebrities!
Me and Lightspeed Champion, who was smelly:
Me and the mom from Friday Night Lights, who had pretty hair:
And me and Perez Hilton, who was a fat pig bitch:

Although I’ve probably never been uglier, so I can see why he wanted nothing to do with me.
So anyway thanks so much to Mike and Shiv and Bryan Jay and Joe for taking us on. And to James and Sarah for letting us transform their dining room into an editing bay! You guys are the best! Videos coming soon… just need to get some sleep and eat something other than Salsa Verde Doritos…
Bad news: I totaled my 94 Civic. Good news: PROJECTMILL is in with the in-crowd!! It’s official—we’re accompanying WOXY to Souh by Southwest to make HD videos of all their lounge acts!! I’ve been harassing them for months about this and we finally got the green light!! Sweet!
With the new year comes a new project. Me and Pete have been developing this for a while now, and we recently got our designer friend Josh Mattie involved. It’s called PROJECTMILL, and it’s a creative collective for artists off all kinds to reach out and seek help/advice/equipment/whatever from other artists. It’s cool people encouraging cool people to do cool things. It’s a network; an institution. And it’s three-strong for now, but I think this could be big. Go to our website and learn more! www.theprojectmill.com And I think I already have a scheme in mind for PROJECTMILL to get me to this year’s SXSW festival… more info as it becomes available…
Happy New Year!! And welcome to mandylevy.com! It’s my self-centered website that shows off my self-centered art to people who are interested in learning more about me, Mandy Levy, Jane of all Trades! (It’s clever cuz my middle name is Jane.)
This is me:
This is Cincinnati, where I live:

This is my boyfriend, Pete:

And this is my cat, Sean:
He’s in a tree.
The end.
